The Bowling Crew game has an automatic scouring. But even though, it's a good idea to know the fundamentals of keeping score in the sport of bowling. After all, you have to know how to keep score if you want to know what you need to bowl to beat your opponent! Unlike a real game of bowling that consists of 10 frames, the Bowling Crew game consists of 3 frames, in which a bowler has two chances per frame to knock down all ten pins.   Scoring In traditional scoring, one point is scored for each pin that is knocked down. Open: When fewer than ten pins are knocked down in two rolls in a frame (an open frame), the frame is scored according to the total number of pins knocked down. Split: When the first ball of a frame leaves two or more non-adjacent groups of one or more pins standing. However, when all ten pins are knocked down with either the first or second bowls of a frame, bonus pins are awarded as follows: Strike: When all ten pins are knocked down on the first bowl (marked "X" on the score sheet), the frame receives ten pins plus a bonus of the number of pins knocked down on the next bowls (not necessarily the next two frames). A strike in the 3rd (final) frame grants two extra bowls for bonus pins. Spare: When a second bowl of a frame is knocks down all remaining pins (marked "/" on the score sheet), the frame receives ten pins plus a bonus of the number of pins knocked down in the next bowl (not necessarily the next frame). A spare in the first two bowls in the 3rd (final) frame grants a third bowl for bonus pins. The scoreboard is shown after each bowl. You can open it manually at any time by taping on an arrow on the right-hand side. Every serious bowler aspires to bowl what is called the Perfect Game. The maximum score for a single frame is 30 — 10 for the pins actually knocked down in that frame when a strike is bowled, plus 10 pins for the first bowl that follows (which would have to be a strike), and another 10 pins for the second bowl (another strike). Times this by the 3 frames in a game of bowling and you get the Perfect Game — a 90. This is achieved by bowling 5 consecutive strikes in a single game. Now your progress is saved. You can continue playing from another device if need be. Just complete the tutorial and login to your Facebook account to continue from where you left off.   Let's bowl now! Controls Basic principles: First, you need to aim. Drag the ball to move it. Swipe the arrows below the ball to rotate it. Drag the ball back and keep holding it. To bowl the ball in a straight line, swipe forward when the arrow is in the center of the hook controller. A long, fast swipe will launch the ball into the air. A shorter, slower swipe will bowl the ball along the ground. To make the ball curl (hook), swipe it forward when the arrow on the hook controller is to the side. You can hook the ball clockwise or counterclockwise. The further the arrow is to the left or right, the more intensively the ball will hook. Be cool and good luck! But remember, you only have 20 seconds for each bowl! Hook potential depends on the effective width of the hook controller. The wider the controller, the more intensively the ball can curl. You can find the basics of scoring system in this guide.   Lobby, Profile, Settings, and Support Lobby In your Profile you can change your avatar and check your stats (win rate, number of Perfect Games/strikes/splits, etc.). In Settings, you can turn the music, sounds/vibration on and off. The Support button can also be found in Settings. Information on data protection and our Terms of Service are also available in this useful tab. Currency and Cases Chips are required to play matches and upgrade your balls. Gold is a rare resource. You can spend it in the Shop and other places on valuable items. Ball cards are required to unlock new balls and upgrade available ones. Missions and Crown Case At the top of the Lobby, you can find the Missions and Crown Case tabs. You can complete a certain number of missions. Tap on the Mission tab to see what your current task is. Once all missions have been completed, more will become available once the timer runs out. In addition, you can receive the Crown Case for a certain number of crowns. Earn 1 crown for every winning frame in the game. Only completed games are taken into account. The number of games is not limited. Upon receiving the Crown Case, the next one will be available once the timer runs out. The reward for missions and the Crown Case is opened instantly. If there is a reward to take, the tab will be highlighted in goldlike in picture below: Your reward is ready!   Facebook Friends and Gifts You can invite your friends to play the game. You get 2,000 chips for every invited friend as soon as they install the app. And your friend will get a bonus case! Moreover, you can exchange gifts with your Facebook friends for free every day. Go to the Gifts tab. There are two ways to invite a friend. A direct link. In this case, you'll get the reward once your friend installs the app. Facebook friend invite. In this case, you'll get the reward once your friend has connected their profile with Facebook. Balls There are three ball types. Power balls are the heaviest. These balls are designed to knock down a large set of pins. Bounce balls are designed to give you a better chance of completing splits. Pins bounce off these balls with a greater velocity. Precise balls are easier to aim and lighter than power balls. These balls are great for knocking down a small group of pins. You can manage your balls in your Arsenal. Upgrade your balls—it is very important! Beginner's balls cannot be upgraded. At the beginning of every game, 6 balls from your match bag are placed in the same order as in your Arsenal. Thrown balls go to the end of the line. Choose which ball types to place in your match bag depending on the pin line-up. To change the ball after it has been selected, click on this icon on the right.   Trophies and Alleys   Win games to earn trophies. Once you have enough trophies, a new Alley is unlocked. Alley 1 (Jack Rabbit Pins)—your starting Alley. No entry conditions. Alley 2 (Skipper's Hook) Alley 3 (Hell's Balls) Alley 4 (Golden Sands) Alley 5 (Asian Drift) Alley 6 (Monument Alley) Alley 7 (Strike from Mars) Alley 8 (Knights of the Round Ball) Alley 9 (Fury Lane) Alley 10 (Steamball Club) Alleys 11 (Balls of Anarchy) Alley 12 is coming soon! You can check how many more trophies you need in the Alley selector (tap Play and then swipe to the left):   Every Alley has a maximum number of available 🏆 trophies. You can still earn chips and cases from completed Series, but be careful as you can also lose your current trophies!   Pin Line-Ups Once you unlock Alley 3 (Hell's Balls), the pin line-ups become varied. In addition to a classic 10-pin bowling line-up, a variety of different line-ups is added. Use Bounce and Precise balls and hook your balls in order to hit a strike.   Leagues A League Season lasts one week. A new Season starts at midnight UTC every Monday.   You get ranked for earning chips in regular games while the Season lasts. Challenge winnings are not taken into account. The more chips you earn, the higher place you get.   If you manage to be at the top of your League at the end of the Season, you get promoted. There is also a relegation zone. Players who finish between the promotion and relegation zones remain in their League for the next Season.   After a Season ends, the top players in every League receive a prize according to their ranking. The higher your current League, the better the % bonus for your chips and card earnings from cases. You can check your position and your % bonus of your current League in the Rating tab. Challenge of the Day You can participate in the Challenge of the Day starting from Alley 3 (Hell's Balls). This mode differs from classic games. Lanes in the Challenge of the Day rotate every day and have additional obstacles. The rules are simple: Each victory increases the reward At 3 wins you will receive the top prize! Play for free while on winning streak! Upon losing, you can either take your current reward or try to win the highest prize for chips. The price of additional attempt depends on your maximum available Alley. Each challenge lasts for just one day Be quick to get your prize and enjoy different bowling alleys every day! Fancy bowling lanes Every lane has a unique layout and extra elements. Good luck on the lanes!

Secondly, from now on you can play on any 🎳 lane (Series) you want. We've taken another dive into balancing the whole balls/rating system so our game would become more interesting and fair. Is it still not enough? Meet the new lane: ⚔ Knights of the Round Ball on Series 8! Roll your balls and hit a strike in majestic chambers inspired by the legends about King Arthur and his deeds. Balls rarity was revised as well. For example, now you need less cards to upgrade your favorite Rare or Epic ball. Also, previous levels were redesigned to match the new system. For all you 🏅 Challenge of the Day fans we've got some good news: there is no entry fee! Starting from now you can play it free of charge! Do you like to be challenged? Now the classic games in high Series have not only a classic 10-pin bowling line-up, but a variety of it. In the Gift tab you can find some funny ads. Watch it to get valuable goods. We also reconsidered prices in our in-game shop so they would become more affordable:) And last but not least, the hook controller has new visuals making it clearer.
